Down in a slump

Hello! How are you?
I’ve been away for a while because of a simple (and terrible) reason: I’m in a reading slump. I can’t read any book at all – and I’ve tried my favourites already.  It’s making me really angry, but I’m using the time to watch series and to do some diy projects. For instance, I spent the last two days making River Song’s Diary. I’m a huge Doctor Who fan and I’ve been wanting one since… Well, since I first saw one.
So I made one for myself. I’ll use it to write about my trips and stuff like that. Hey, here’s a pic:

Isn’t it cool?
Well, tell me in the comments how you get out of reading slumps. I could use some advice!
See you later. xx

  1. Sometimes when I’m not in the mood to read anything, I don’t. I find other things that I enjoy. I watch movies, write, go on walks, hang out with friends, or bake. Just allowing yourself to do other things like you’re doing above, that you’ve been wanting to do for so long, is good enough. Wanting to read again, will come back. Enjoy this new free time to do other things.

  2. I agree with what Colleen said. Reading slumps suck but good news: they go away. Just take a break, walk away from books, watch tv/movies, go out, paint. Do something other than reading. You’ll start to miss it and then BAM the slump will be a thing of the past….until the next one hits 🙂

    I ❤ that Tardis thingy!!!!!!
I've been on terrible reading slumps lately, I have to force myself to read o.o
For me it's only thing that helps, I tell myself that now I have to read then I read 40 pages (or one book). It's close to being a chore but chore that I love haha. By the way…errr it appears (maybe only to me) that you posted this twice o.O or once…not sure…but I decided to say something.
